what's the status of libfetch at the moment?
i mean do you plan to release a separate tarball then it could be a makedepend for pacman? if so, when do you plan to do so?

No, it's in the cvs log from 2 days ago: * Removal of libfetch from the archlinux proper - it has been renamed to libdownload and can be found at http://phraktured.net/libdownload
