[pacman-dev] is srcpac alive?
I don't think srcpac is strictly speaking part of pacman, anyway, I find it useful. Actually srcpac is broken 'cause it uses "-w" makepkg's option that is no longer supported. Does anybody care about srcpac? -- Alessio 'mOLOk' Bolognino Arch Linux Trusted User http://www.archlinux.org

Yes, I'm slightly interested in it, but it isn't at the top of our priority list. Within the next week or two, we plan on consolidating a lot of the current arch projects in one place, and that will make it much easier to update these things. Until then, feel free to submit a patch to this list fixing some of the issues, and we can make sure it gets to the right person. To substitute for the lack of -w option, we did implement this feature for makepkg: if PKGDEST is set in the environment, that value is used instead of the one in makepkg.conf. This should allow for srcpac to be modified accordingly. -Dan
