[pacman-dev] Full pacman-5.0 freeze
We are now in a complete freeze. I intend to make the release before the end of the month. I have submitted strings for translation to Transifex, so no string changes can occur. I will accept bug fixes only. What I see that needs done before release: - document --hookdir in pacman.8. - mentioned what HookDir is overriding (system hook dir) in pacman-conf.8. - bash/zsh completion Allan
Hi, I have worked on translation of Romanian strings in Transifex. I have built the latest sources of pacman, but many of the strings still appear in English, although the strings are 100% translated. Maybe I did something wrong during config, build, install steps. Could you please tell me the exact steps to install pacman in separate folder without changing system pacman, but to be able to test the new pacman build from sources with the latest translated strings. I need to check the strings before making Transifex last minor adjustments. Thanks. Mihai Pe 17.01.2016 11:30, Allan McRae a scris:

- Bump soname We had an API change that breaks current code. https://projects.archlinux.org/pacman.git/commit/?id=95121cc4 -- main(a){char*c=/* Schoene Gruesse */"B?IJj;MEH" "CX:;",b;for(a/* Chris get my mail address: */=0;b=c[a++];) putchar(b-1/(/* gcc -o sig sig.c && ./sig */b/42*2-3)*42);}

Once the patches on my patchqueue branch are pushed, only zsh completion remains. I can not fix this, and it will not block the release (at the end of the week) given it lives in the contrib/ directory. Allan
