[pacman-dev] makepkg ignores md5sums?
Hi! Sorry, this bug(?) may have been reported already (I ignore e-mails about makepkg), and I'm lazy to scan the ML ;-) I run 'makepkg' as non-root for this PKGBUILD: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xchat-xsys/xchat-xsys/PKGBUILD, and makepkg simply ignores md5sums field: Nothing happens if you change it with a wrong md5sum. (Or is the PKGBUILD corrupt? <- It's mine and created after reading 'man PKGBUILD') Bye, ngaba
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xchat-xsys/xchat-xsys/PKGBUILD Other bug: If I replace 'audacious-player' with 'audacious', makepkg reports that audacious package not found, however I have audacious-player installed which provides audacious. Bye

I had no problems with it halting on an invalid MD5 sum. Old email but cleaning them all out. :) -Dan
