[pacman-dev] Source code not available. FTP broken.
Hi there! I only subscribed to this mailing list because I have problem with downloading the source code of the latest release version as I need to install pacman locally on my machine. But the FTP seems broken. I get a 404 message. Is there any chance you will have it up again today/tomorrow/next week? Greets, Folatt RPG

ftp.archlinux.org is gone (https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2015-February/026967.h...), use https://sources.archlinux.org/other/pacman/ or Git (https://www.archlinux.org/pacman/#_source_code) --byte

Please never ever just say "it's broken". Always provide as much information as you can, in this case the URL you are trying to download from and where you found that URL.
Hello Pacman devs, Excusez-moi, I had not realized that this was a ftp and not a http url, so I treated is as such. In any case: ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/other/pacman/ or for that matter ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/ Filezilla gave me this: Status: Selected port usually in use by a different protocol. Status: Resolving address of ftp.archlinux.org Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
