Is that true? I don't see it in the Arch announcements (also shown as news on the website), which I would hope it would be if it was a newly required change.
(Also I last updated two days ago, still am using "exec ck-launch-session startxfce4", and haven't noticed anything being broken. Of course, I manually mounted my USB sticks with "sudo mount" anyway so I might not have noticed...)
It is true. Well, once in the past I suddenly only could logout with Xfce's logout dialog. After adding ck-launch-session I got the other options like "Reboot", "Shutdown", "Standby" and "Hibernation" back. After one of the latest updates I again could only logout with Xfce's logout dialog. Every other option was grayed out. After removing ck-launch-session from ~/.xinitrc I got the other options back again. I didn't change anything else in both cases. My user is in the right groups and has the correct rights. Heiko
