Re: [arch-dev-public] openssl 3.0
Just a note to thank you all for pushing this over the line. Obviously a huge effort and very big thanks!! Everything I've tested so far works just fine : dovecot, postfix, ldns, rust/cargo, nginx-mainline, cyrus-sasl, nsd, unbound, cryptsetup, stunnel and kernel signed modules. Looking forward to testing python 3.11 as well!! Thank you for all the work you do keeping things running so well. gene

Also my thanks for all the good work to upgrade Arch for openssl 3.0. Though fyi. I had to upgrade/rebuild xrdp (AUR) afterwards to have it working again. ~Z On 11/7/22 09:10, Pascal wrote:

Also my 2 ct for the upgrade of openssl! And in addition to xrdp I'd to rebuild xrdp and proxmox-backup-client as well. - Oliver

The `checkrebuild` utility from the `rebuild-detector` package is useful for determining which packages need to be rebuilt after shared libraries are updated. It quickly flagged my AUR packages linked to OpenSSL 1. Jaron

Cheerio to Jaron for his hint to checkrebuild/rebuild-detector. Highly appreciated! - Oliver
