Hi, I'm disowning sage-mathematics, sage-mathematics-spkgs(optdepends for sage-mathematics), fityk, and xylib(dependency for fityk). I will move them to the aur in a week if no TU adopts them in community. If you plan on adopting sage-mathematics, you should know that it is currently unbuildable on archlinux, and some other newer distros due to how it is built. It is currently out of date, and you wont be able to update it without fixing this. http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/10572 (13 month old bug without recent comments) http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/11391 (9 month old bug I filed without a sign of activity) If you plan on adopting fityk, note that it needs a development version of wxwidgets which I statically build in the same PKGBUILD. [aur-general] [KDE SC] Packages naming scheme.

Hi all, Is there's any policy about the KDE SC related packages naming scheme? Browsing the AUR one can find plasmoids and kcm modules that aren't named following a scheme to make them easily findable while browsing for them. If such policy/guideline exists, should we encourage packagers to follow it and ask for rename existing packages? Thanks.

With the release of MPICH 3.0, the project name has been changed from MPICH2 to MPICH. (It is still backward-compatible.) I have updated my packages accordingly, which includes a directory change from /opt/mpich2/ to /opt/mpich/.
