Yes, it can happen. The rest of us are here to help, and once you let us know (if we are not aware already), we'll take care of it.
However, if that was his reply, then it should've been followed up by a notification to let us know of his situation and to ask us for help to keep his packages up-to-date, or at least those that are important. By right, he should've marked himself busy/inactive.
Anyway, I've updated lmms for now and will keep on monitoring the package since I'm familiar with it.
