Hi! I'm trying to send a static version of powerline-fonts-git package (called powerline-fonts) but I cant, the git server gives me this message: remote: error: package is blacklisted: powerline-fonts remote: error: hook declined to update refs/heads/master I think that is good idea a static package for avoid unnecesary updates when you check the "devel pakages". ItachiSan [1] filed a request to merge telegram-desktop [2] into telegram-desktop-light [3]: I created the -light versione of the package for some reasons: * fix packaging issues (found with namcap) Mostly warning, but now the package builds respecting all ABS standards. * Moving away some dependencies Useless runtime dependencies are removed; build depends are more than your package, but this is mainly to build QT5 against system libraries, which is a nice thing, as also Telegram Desktop use them later. * Use system libraries It is much better to use upstream software provided by Archlinux rather than the libraries present in the QT package, for security reason and design approach (reusability) also. * Use upstream tarballs for code Removes useless git dependency and allow checksum. snowdust [1] filed a deletion request for brother-dcp7060d [2]: @ewolnux I am running Arch-based ApricityOs (www.apricity.com) and I have a Brother multifunctional usb DCP-7060D printer/scanner. In a terminal window I installed the above package (yaourt brother-dcp7060d). Unfortunately, this is not a happy story. a) In Settings/Printers/, Print Test Page does not work and when clicking the 'Show Jobs' button a window pops up showing a 'No Active Printer Jobs' message. b) Launched LibreOffice Writer, opened a document, in the 'Print Preview' window clicking the Print icon made the 'Print Options' window pop up. In the 'Print Options' window, under the General Tab, I clicked the 'Properties' button which made the Properties window to display. In the 'Properties' window, under the Paper tab, are listed the following items: Paper size, Orientation, Duplex, Paper tray. Paper size and Orientation have default values that cannot be changed; Duplex and Paper tray have no default values at all (empty). These 4 items also have an unresponsive arrowhead pointing downward making it impossible to select other values than the default ones. c) In /usr/share/brother/Printer/DCP7060D/ folder... I see only the lpd and cupswarpper drivers. There are not scanner drivers. d) In /usr/shere/brother/Printer/DCP7060D/inf/ folder... again no scanner file. I have been trying for more than a week to find a solution without success. Thanks for considering the above. This time I was very careful to comment and vote outdated about this package being broken. The current maintainer doesn't seem to be interested in either fixing or improving (I've sent him a patchset over email that was improving this package - didn't get any response).
