I've made several local changes to the PKGBUILD, and would be willing to take over package maintenance if the owner does not respond. I created a modified PKGBUILD here: https://gist.github.com/darsor/a0c405f3c20dbcf657935067b563de13 Here's what I changed: 1. Added the package description 2. Added armv6h architecture (for raspberry pi 2) 3. Changed the URL to point to the upstream github page 4. Added the license 5. Added provides/conflicts for libiio (so you can't have libiio and libiio-git installed at the same time) 6. Added all the dependencies. Trilby [1] filed a deletion request for mastodon [2]: The isn't even half of a PKGBUILD. Caleb apparently submitted several half-complete (or less) and non functional PKGBUILDs almost a year ago seeminly with the intent of getting feedback and hasn't done anything with them. If anything Caleb should have posted these on github or similar to solicit feedback and help in getting them working: PKGBUILDs that are known not to work should not be submitted to the AUR.
