MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for openssh-dotconfig [2]: Duplicate of core/openssh, with minimal modification. XDG Base Directory specification support is a fundamental goal of Arch Linux. This modification makes the package adhere less to that, because it hardcodes $HOME/.config as the basedir of .ssh configuration dir, but this does not respect XDG_CONFIG_HOME. If a repo package could be enhanced with better customizability and/or stronger adherence to XDG specifications, one should file an upstream issue and/or an Arch Linux bug with a suggested patch, instead of recreating Arch repo builds on AUR. Though the PKGBUILD can easily be fixed (update protocol to git+https://) and the script seems to work, it doesn't seem to be really useful. a821 [1] filed a deletion request for dafs-git [2]: I propose to delete this package. Orphan, no votes, no comments, no reverse depends. One time effort in 2015. I notified the maintainer of the deprecated git:// protocol but he disowned. Moreover, upstream changed its build system to `cmake` (ca. 2020), so more changes are required to revive this package. This also means it has been broken for at least 3 years with no one noticing. Better to delete if no one uses it.
