MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for webbrowser-git [2]: This package continues to violate packaging standards mentioned in comments since 2021. But it is also not useful: it's a not much developed, de-branded fork from 2019—2020 of the Pale Moon browser. The fork's active development happened in 2020 and 2021, with only 2 minor commits roughly a year ago, in 2022. [a] Its Pale Moon originating GUI platform and rendering engine, Goanna/UXP was updated from upstream in 2020 and then not much developed further. [b] There is literally zero benefit to users to use this: outdated, insecure, deprecated in its web standards support, and inferior in every way to Pale Moon and mainstream browsers - among which there are lots of fortified privacy flavors and configurations. MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for waybar-hyprland-git [2]: Since waybar 0.9.21+ release, upstream seems to no longer invoke the hyprctl CLI to manipulate and query Hyprland workspaces, and instead supports volatile and persistent workspaces directly. The workaround patch used here is no longer needed; therefore a separate Hyprland-specific Waybar build is not necessary or useful anymore. This build is also broken as is.
