[aur-requests] [PRQ#15799] Orphan Request for nordvpn-bin
erkexzcx [1] filed a orphan request for nordvpn-bin [2]: No longer maintained package, user requests are being ignored. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/erkexzcx/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/nordvpn-bin/
Request #15799 has been rejected by eschwartz [1]: Package is maintained, spamming duplicate packages and trash-talking the package and its maintainers is not okay. I don't see a single valid complaint from you. However, you are now officially warned to cease and desist in your hostile takeover attempt. Your next attempt to: - upload a duplicate package - request the package to be orphaned without clear and present evidence of the package being abandoned by the maintainers will result in your account being suspended. In order to help you figure out what is likely to get you suspended, you may consult our official guidance at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Foo_in_the_AUR_is_... Note that you must wait at least two weeks after EITHER: - the package has been flagged out of date - attempts to report an issue on the x86_64 architecture to the (co)maintainers via the comment section have failed due to a lack of response. You are NOT permitted to demand the package be orphaned due to a missing archlinux-arm architecture. Arch Linux does not support armv6 and it is *entirely* up to the maintainer's discretion whether they wish to support additional architectures. It doesn't matter if they support other additional architectures but not armv6 -- that is not valid grounds for an orphan request and you must discuss it with the maintainers and abide by their decision.
