The stable version `cadence` is up-to-date in the AUR and I verified that the last commit on master is the tag of the last version (2187c06). The package has been broken for at least two years since the git:// protocol deprecation. I think this can be deleted as it will not add anything even if you fix it. Two Python 2 based dependencies have already been deleted. Maintainer didn't respond since 2021-07 when getting a comment about a dependency being deleted. This tool is not essential at all. Surely there are other methods of piracy to rip Spotify music, if that's someone's thing. Safe to delete, nothing depends on it. MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gnochm [2]: I suggest to delete this Gtk2 and Python 2 based Microsoft Help File (CHM) viewer (GUI app). Project stopped in 2007 (15 years ago). Last user comments here are from 2015 and it seems the application was not able to function at that point in time. There are good, working applications/libraries to view and/or import/convert Microsoft CHM files. So this defunct one is not needed and not worth keeping in my opinion. Pyroh [1] filed a deletion request for gcc-snapshot [2]: The former maintainer stated in the comments that this was being orphaned in favor of gcc-git, which arguably makes this packages existence unneeded. Here (http://gcc.gnu.org/snapshots.html) users are recommended to use VCS as "given snapshot may generate incorrect code or even fail to build." This is obviously the same for VCS packages, but there is no implication of stability with those, while a snapshot might be interpreted that way.
