MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for labview-2010-rte [2]: Orphaned package, last updated in 2017. It was for a manually downloadable LabView 2010 runtime SP1. There have been new releases at least twice-yearly since. Also it seems National Instruments only supports their software backwards to 2015 the furthest. Nothing depends on this 2010 version package except its companion, the also-deprecated and orphaned 'labview-2010' (deletion request submitted separately). There are no user votes or comments. Flagged OOD for almost a year by me: nothing happened. 0 votes, and only I commented a year ago, mentioning that the lib32 subpackage wrongly defines it provides glibc (the 64-bit variant). But upstream URL points to a GitHub repo of a random user, hosting an 8-year-old file. Meanwhile the actual file that gets packaged is hosted in the AUR git repo. Better to delete this. The university most certainly hosts their own network setup guide and example configuration. Two Python 2 based dependencies have already been deleted. Maintainer didn't respond since 2021-07 when getting a comment about a dependency being deleted. This tool is not essential at all. Surely there are other methods of piracy to rip Spotify music, if that's someone's thing. Safe to delete, nothing depends on it.
