MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for arm-none-eabi-gcc60-linaro [2]: This legacy compiler from 2018 seems not needed anymore. Also its name seems not right; gcc60 implies gcc 6.0 from 2016, but its current version is 6.5 from 2018. Though as nothing depends on it on AUR, I recommend deletion, in order to ease maintenance burden. There are no user votes or comments that would indicate that anyone would protest. (Also, the main isl package has been adopted from AUR to Arch [core] under the name 'libisl'. As AUR in principle has to align with Arch repos, any isl* packages here should in theory be renamed to libisl*, and their dependents would need to change their depends arrays as well. But it is better to remove the truly unused legacy packages instead of pushing for effecting the former cross-maintainer changes for dozens of AUR packages.) Fair critique, though I am a fan of childish amusement. I had hope that the repo maintainer would be more active, but as it stands it is best to remove the package (especially with how it will break due to argparse, if that hasn't already occured). I.e. as the creator and maintainer I support the deletion of this package. Name should end with '-x32', not start with 'libx32-'. • This package cannot be built because of already dropped dependencies from AUR. • Even if built, X32 executables won't work with any mainstream kernels from any distros. Only on kernels custom-built with niche x32 ABI support. • Whoever wants to use such a special architecture would not be able to use it from unbuildable, unmaintained 6-year old build scripts from the AUR. But they could use Debian x32 or build Gentoo from scratch for the x32 ABI, or find some IoT-specific distro (X32 ABI might be relevant for some low-end IoT devices). Hello, @dreieck, I see your point. In that case, however, wouldn't it be better to keep AUR/wacom-utility-git [1] instead? The stable package is from 2011, whereas the git package builds from a maintenance fork GitHub repo by @lubosz that is not archived, and whose last commit is from 2019. It seems to me that the latter code has more hardware support coverage than the EOL stable version from 2011.
