(On the other side, AUR also supports -git etc. packages, where upstream also changes continuosly and there is no checksumming or whatsoever. [aur-requests] [PRQ#34330] Deletion Request for barco-clickshare

MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for barco-clickshare [2]: Orphaned package. Flagged as the app being broken since Dec 2017. It was a helper client for a wireless presentation hardware device. Unfortunately the manufacturer has stopped supporting Linux in 2017. The client is reported to be malfunctioning since 2017, and also to not work at all with the manufacturer's newer line of products starting from 2018. The last comment on it was from its former AUR maintainer in 2019. Since that time, they have disowned it and no new volunteer adopted it. As it is 2022 now, this hardware remote controller helper from 2017 seems to be not needed and not useful anymore. Also it seems there isn't any demand to make it work somehow. It is likely the hardware RC devices it was intended for are not in widespread use. Therefore I suggest it's safe to delete this package. [PRQ#40425] Deletion Request for mesa-panfork-git

1ace [1] filed a deletion request for mesa-panfork-git [2]: panfork is a hostile fork of Mesa created for the sole purpose of making a repeated abuser look legitimate against their victim and against the upstream Mesa community who banned him twice (we gave him a second chance after a few months as he pretended to have understood that his behaviour was unacceptable, but he started again soon after). See the discussion at https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/4476 which is where I learned that someone packaged his fork on the AUR, giving implicit legitimacy to this behaviour, although I expect the packager wasn't aware of the reason the fork exists and didn't think to check. Please delete this package group, and if there is such a feature, please block `*panfork*` packages in the future. [PRQ#52446] Deletion Request for wine-wl-git

MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for wine-wl-git [2]: Not useful to keep. Not just because pkgname is too cryptic (wl instead of wayland), but mainly because there's no permanent upstream wayland branch. Instead, developer just creates different temporary feature branches to send as Merge Requests, which, when completed, get incorporated into main wine branch. The currently defined 'wayland' feature branch in source array has not been updated since 2023-02 [a], and is much older than upstream master branch wayland code - which has continued to receive newer Wayland enhancements all throughout the year 2023. Therefore AUR/wine-git builds from a source which has majorly better Wayland support - that one should be checked if something needs to be done on packager's side or not, to enable it. [PRQ#50877] Deletion Request for rpgvxace-rtp

MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for rpgvxace-rtp [2]: Unneeded RPG Maker common multimedia assets and runtime .dll's package from 2011. Nothing depends on it on AUR. Source is hosted on an insecure third-party server with expired TLS certificate, therefore curl refuses to download it. Not needed to keep this package on AUR as is. Also, this was only intended to allow reducing the game distribution file size, by omitting these common resources and downloading them once from RPG Maker's official site. But nowadays bandwidth is not a problem. If a game still happens to need these resources, it will link to official upstream site, from where they can be acquired, and it is safer to get it from there and install them only inside the HOME dir, not into the system.
