I'd also like to announce that I made PKGBUILDs and i686 packages for
the iwlwifi drivers for intel 3945ABG and 4965AGN chipsets. Those are
based on mac80211, that means you need a 2.6.22 kernel to run them. The
packages are built against tpowa's 2.6.22-rc4. Packages and PKGBUILDs
for the modules and the firmware are here:

My tests conclude that the iwl3945 driver is not really stable, and you
should use the ipw3945 driver if you have such a card (unless you love
reboots and unstable connections).
I can't test the iwl4965 driver, because I don't have the hardware, but
these packages should help anyone who has such a new Intel card.
