I really need to proof-read my crap before I hit "send".

What I mean here is 16 main colours.  Gradients allowed, as was
mentioned in the other ML thread, but main colours of the gradient
(from A to B through C) should be part of the 16-colour palette.

I also wanted to ask - do we want to _specify_ this palette?  Give it
to the community and say "pick from these colours"?
