That's also what I was thinking.
It already mentions that rsync is used, but I would insist on it, for 
example, by changing 1) to something like:

1) cvsup/csup are no longer required, rsync is used instead

Then 3) can be removed.

But otherwise, eliott's version of 3) is much clearer.
