Oh damn, my bad. I hadn't seen this until just now, as it came long
after mysql went into [testing].

Anyway, once I upgrade to this, I can start up the Arch site locally
hitting mysql, so things seem decent here for all of the involved
packages (mysql, libmysqlclient, mysql-python). Of course this is no
production database system.
