There is a bigger problem than that, as you can guess. There should be
many problems displayed (like in my previous manual checks I posted),
but it doesn't find anything anymore.
Looks like it fails to load any information from any packages now.

Your question is about a smaller problem, but still a valid one :
I guess it is a check of the x86_64 PKGBUILDs, but with CARCH set to
i686. Most PKGBUILDs don't use/depend on CARCH so it is not a big
deal. But for correctness, the --arch=x86_64 should be used as an
option for my check_packages script so that CARCH is set correctly.
