This guy made mkinitcpio 3-4 times faster (he claims). I can believe
it, and although it runs quite fast on my quad-core desktop box, it
definitely crawls on my Eee. You might have to poke him to provide
diffs and separate patches, but he does seem willing to help you guys
out.
