Seriously, 45 f-ing MB for samba? How can that be possible?

Are we building this wrong, or what is happening here? Something seems
a bit out of whack when we are dealing with loads and loads of 5 MB
binaries. The above list doesn't even fully capture all of those used
by samba and smbclient, nor the libraries.

P.S. The inclusion of some documentation is probably unwarranted as well:
