I tried to bump Ekiga to git master, progress so far:
- needs "recent" (2016) versions of Opal and ptlib (2.16.3 prerelease
from git)
- current ptlib is patched for OpenSSL 1.1 support, upstream has no
support for 1.1 and is not planning to support it either (ticket closed
as notabug/wontfix)
- SSL code in ptlib has changed a lot, patch no longer applies,
applying by hand is not enough
- OpenSuSE has a patch which is half-finished and doesn't compile
Things are not looking good for Ekiga. I don't have any plans to revert
to OpenSSL 1.0 to get this working.
