For a "normal" user close to none other than installing an additional
package, since less is the default pager for all respected linux distros
i am familiar with.
Advanced users who practice bash scripting might need the extra features
when piping stuff etc.

As the author of most states, "most supports multiple windows and can scroll left
and right", but that is its only advantage in compare to less, excluding
color.
