	I'm still reading through the AUR info to see if there are any tricks beyond
the normal:

if ! autoconf; then
	./configure --help
	(read, make educated guesses)
	./configure --your guesses
	make
	make install
else
	go rtfm again to remember autoconf
	./configure --help
	(read, make educated guesses)
	./configure --your guesses
	make
	make install
fi ;-)
