He might be referring to FCrDNS which does seem to be broken for
208.92.232.29 as:

a reverse lookup on 208.92.232.29 gives client-208-92-232-29.sevenl.net

but

a lookup of client-208-92-232-29.sevenl.net does not resolve to 208.92.232.29

checked at http://ipadmin.junkemailfilter.com/rdns.php

Not sure if any mailservers are using this but it wouldn't surprise me
if Google was using it. :)
