I meant libgnome.so, really. I'm looking at this error message:

   Could not load support for `gnome':
   libgthread: cannot open shared object file:
   No such file or directory

If I read that correctly, it's not saying "cannot find libgthread" but
saying that libgthread cannot load some shared object...
