Hi,

I see, you have hda and hdmi codec modules loaded.

Can it be, that your issues are related to FS#15829
(http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15829)?

When I had this issue, there were a few audio programs, mainly KDE
software, which didn't care about the sound card numbers and the
module's index option and found the real audio card by themselves, but
not every audio software was able to do this.
