	Networking is very sensitive to time difference between hosts (especially to 
time going backwards). I am making an educated guess here, but I suspect that 
when the box came up 5 hours in the past it adversly affected the wireless 
networking in some strange way. How? -- Dunno, but after tearing apart the 
madwifi setup, downgrading kernels, packages, etc. and re-upgrading, the only 
change was the localtime setting in rc.conf that was causing my clock to reset 
by the tzoffset on boot.

	That's my swag at it...
