Hello,

this should not be a problem AFAIK, that is if you have whole disk encrypted 
including your root, you are asked for passphrase when resuming from StD. 
Without that resume is not possible as the "resume image" is stored at 
encrypted disk.
The other suff is solved by some DE such as KDE, that can be configurred to lock 
your session when suspending.
