I don't think this kind of sarcasm is going to help Ralph, and is likely to 
make him more frustrated, which will just make you more frustrated.

Ralph, I really suggest you check out SLiM or LightDM.  Ubuntu is replacing 
GDM with LightDM.  I'm pretty sure that means it's at least as good...
