I still do, I haven't moved to the automagically detected input
drivers yet, and I don't really feel the need yet.  I actually set:

Section "ServerFlags"
       Option  "AutoAddDevices"      "False"
       Option  "AllowEmptyInput"       "False"
EndSection

Well, this is just me probably...  I really hope the drivers don't
disappear, :-)
