So, will pacman really enter gsoc?

I've read the pacman roadmap, I think I can do things like implementint curl,
or maybe optdepends (I couldn't build pactree from git, was it already proted
to C?).

Also, in case pacman doesn't enter, any advice for the ones willing to
contribute?
