Not sure if this will help you but on my Asus laptop I have as a backup 
I had to do:
# mkdir /etc/adobe # echo \"OverrideGPUValidation = 1\" >> 
/etc/adobe/mms.cfg

# mkdir /etc/adobe
# echo \"OverrideGPUValidation = 1\">>  /etc/adobe/mms.cfg

Had to dig this message out of my trash so not sure if this was suggested to try or not. Hope this could be of help.
