Now with linux-3.2-2 the messages are different:

[    7.790647] iTCO_wdt: Intel TCO WatchDog Timer Driver v1.07
[    7.790730] iTCO_wdt: Found a QM57 TCO device (Version=2, TCOBASE=0x0460)
[    7.790747] iTCO_wdt: cannot register miscdev on minor=130 (err=-16)
[    7.790833] iTCO_wdt: probe of iTCO_wdt failed with error -16
