It is working fine for me also with:
lspci -nn | grep VGA

I use kdm and kde runs fine with today's updates.
So I guess this must be specific to the original poster's graphics chipset
or particular setup?
Some additional information may need to be given on the bug reports
including log files if possible I guess.
