Hello guys, this is my first message to this list.
I'm trying to install PyQT for Python 2.7 on Archlinux. I installed
the following packages
> pyqt 4.9.5-3
> pyqt-common 4.9.5-3
> pyqt3 3.18.1-11
> python2-pyqt 4.9.5-3
When I try to do "import qt", the following message appears
> Traceback (most recent call last):
> File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
> RuntimeError: the sip module implements API v9.0 but the qt module requires API v8.1
I have the following sip-related packages installed on my system
> python-sip 4.14-2
> python2-sip 4.14-2
> sip 4.14-2
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
PS: I'm not a native english speaker, so please, excuse me for grammar mistakes.
