I too am noticing a new error on boot that has not appeared before:

Oct 04 14:28:43 phoinix kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
Oct 04 14:28:43 phoinix kernel: floppy: error 10 while reading block 0
Oct 04 14:28:43 phoinix kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0
Oct 04 14:28:43 phoinix kernel: floppy: error 10 while reading block 0

Not sure why the error is thrown, I can still mount read/write from the drive
after the boot is complete.

Not sure if this is related, but it's worth adding to the pile. I'll check
whether it is fixed when 4.13.4 comes out.
