no worries! It's interesting to read the thread. Thank you for
forwarding it to Arch general.

I can't comment on the usefulness of such a apckage, since I don't have
enough knowledge related to LSB vs POSIX (SUS). However, such a package
doesn't harm.

My scripts are not that seldom already not portable between Arch Linux
and Ubuntu, let alone FreeBSD. Actually the issues aren't related to
POSIX vs non-POSIX.
