There is a bug.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Core_dump#Examining_a_core_dump
might be relevant.
I assume you will have to wait for the developers of the software
to fix that.
Perhaps you could write a bug report, and also search to see what
other users of this package suggest.
