[arch-ports] problem install first iso (bug insered)

hi,
   I download first official iso archlinuxppc

I start it

I select ftp installation (only first ftp mirror is working)

I do:

step 1 (praparehd
step 2 (select packages
step 3 (download and install (install is during little time)
step 4 (configure...
... I edit rc.conf.... !!! file is empty...
... I view /mnt/etc is empty
... in /mnt there is only var
help !
