FWIW this is completely wrong. The i686 spec indicates cmov as an
_optional_ instruction. It is GCC that fails here and makes it
mandatory when it emits i686 optimized code. AMD K6 and Via C3
processors do NOT have the cmov instruction, but they're still i686
processors. GCC is the one at fault for this one
