just thinking out loud:
how about we include, in the archiso configs dir, a config for an image
which is basically like our regular image, but has makepkg, vim and git
preinstalled, and a git clone of the aif repository.

i figured everytime i load an iso in a VM I install those things
manually anyway, I could streamline my dev workflow a bit.  And it
makes it easier for other people who want to contribute.

OTOH maybe this would be just a config that belongs on my hard disk,
not in the archiso repo.
