2011.08.17 is not available because of a bug/feature (depending on whether you're talking to me or Dan), this has been fixed/hacked now, but I don't know why the version is not visible yet.  Maybe the new script is not live yet.
But either way, 2011.08.18 just became available, you can also try that out. 

Thanks for testing PXE, I also found it sad the feedback page didn't contain a single result for it yet.

Even though trapezium looks like a very cool project, I don't think it belongs in the release announcement for the new archiso images.
