Yes, but your patch makes systemd ready ;) So installing in the live 
enviroment sounds good ;) Sure will not be enabled by default, anyone 
wants to try it just need to pass init=/bin/systemd

My patch, was really old, making things that are now implemented in 
[core] ;)
