The thing is , 0.3.0 was released on 06/23/2008 . 
Both mtpfs and gnomad2 require 0.3.x and both deserve to be in  [community] IMHO .
Is there a technical reason why libmtp is not getting updated ?

Anyway , modifying the PKGBUILD works for me and I'm not complaining .
