[aur-general] octave3

Hello list members,

  I would like to ask if there is someone who would like to put the
octave3 package to community. 

There are three main reasons for doing so.

- Octave 3 is the stable and development version of octave upstream.
- Octave 3 is not just an update of octave 2 but another program: the
differences are big and incompatible
- it takes long to build, so having a binary version would be nice.

Is this the correct place for discussing this, or  should I write a
feature request?
